Baby Milestones

It is important to become familiar with the developmental milestones that your baby will encounter. As a parent, you are your child’s first teacher and biggest fan. Therefore, nobody knows your baby as well as you! If you are concerned that your child may not be meeting the appropriate milestones, talk with your pediatrician.

As a young mother, I discovered that brief wellness appointments hinder the pediatrician’s opportunity to fully observe a baby’s developmental skills. Therefore, it was my responsibility to share the concerns I had regarding the growth and development of my baby.

The graphic below shares a small amount of what to expect each month of the first two years of your baby’s life.

If you would like more detailed information, check out our Read, Sign, and Say Parent Curriculum. You will have access to a vast amount of information including milestones, baby sign language, songs, stories, and activities. All aligned with the age of your baby.

Remember…. the time is now! Help build your baby’s brain from the very beginning.
